The Mudroom and Laundry Room of the Atlanta Homes and Lifestyle 2017 Home for the Holidays house are the first 2 spaces that you see upon entering the house. I really wanted the mudroom to feel warm and cozy because it is the first thing you see when entering the home and the last thing you see when you exit the home. The laundry room is right off the Mudroom room and is such an expansive space. By using all 5 walls in the Laundry Room, I was able to incorporate a wallpaper that had a design of repeating bubbles. How perfect for the ceiling of the laundry room! That then lead to the overall blue wall color. Adding lamps, a gorgeous roman shade and accessories divert your attention from the purely functional aspects of the room.
